Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I speak fluent Mandarin, English, and French. From age five, I have studied traditional Chinese culture and become inspired by ancient Chinese wisdom and values of morality, righteousness, propriety, benevolence, and faithfulness.

I began my training in classical Chinese dance when I was seven before receiving professional training in New York, and I am now pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto, having received both the President’s Scholarship of Excellence award and the Mary Victoria Court Scholarship award for outstanding academic excellence.

Outside my studies, I dedicate my time to teaching young children classical Chinese dance. Living by the traditional Chinese virtues of women has taught me to be courteous, kind, and humble and instilled in me a calm confidence.
