I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. The exposure to traditional Chinese culture at a young age provided me with a different perspective of the world around me and ensured me to stay closely connected to my heritage. My love for Chinese culture led me to choose to study Chinese culture and language at school, in addition to majoring in English literature. The traditional Chinese culture has taught me to improve my inner beauty with humility and righteousness, and inspired me to share such beauty with others.
